Queensland
First 5 Forever is a universal family literacy program directly supporting parents and primary caregivers to be confident as their child’s first teacher. This initiative commenced in 2015 and is a partnership between the State Library of Queensland and Queensland Public Libraries. The initiative has been very successful in building capability and capacity of library staff and has achieved significant increases in participation in literacy programs and innovative outreach activity into communities.
